plasma-widget-adjustableclock software package provides plasma widget clock to show date and time, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install plasma-widget-adjustableclock
plasma-widget-adjustableclock is installed in your system.
Make ensure the plasma-widget-adjustableclock package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep plasma-widget-adjustableclock *
You will get with plasma-widget-adjustableclock package name, version, architecture and description in a table
